Yeah it's true there are lots of gay men that love anal sex but anal sex isn't particular to just gay men, there are lots of people who aren't gay and love anal sex and yes believe it or not there are lots of gay men who do not like their butts plugged. It’s not something that all gay men engage in simply because they’re gay.
He Is Effeminate.
Just like there are different shades of Negros, Caucasians, Mongoloids and not all of them are as dark, white or whatever colour they are as each other but are of different shades even amongst a race, so does the gay man exist on a continuum of masculine-feminine traits, the most masculine guy could be gay and the most feminine very very straight. Here also, you'd find the misconceptions that the feminine gay guy is the "female" in the relationship which is sometimes untrue and that all gay men like to dress as girls in gowns and stilettos (Dragqueens or Cross dressers ) not true too. He is Promiscuous.
From my point of view I think this misconception comes from the society's view of how men takes sex, how he's a pig and can't control himself, so imagine putting two or more men together what do you come up with? PROMISCUOUS-"CITY" A city where gay men built but that's simply untrue, it's not a thing that 7only and all gay men do. 
He is a Pedophile And Recruits Youngsters.
Psychologist have researched and elaborated two types of pedophiles, Fixated pedophiles whom have no sort of sexual attraction to adults and are attracted to only children and children of any sex for that matter which doesn't make them gay and the second the regressive pedophile who is often attracted to adults but sometimes regress to an immature state and is attracted to children, majority of them are heterosexuals. The news carried one a few weeks back of a man who raped a little four year old girl to death, and at least 6 of such got into the news in 2013.
He Would Only Have Sex For Money.
Here's another misconception that gay guys are like prostitutes or something, there's no denying that yes some what to make some cash "using what they have" which I find just like aristoes or anyone who is paid or as a matter of fact the one who pays for sex too, just absolutely appalling. The problem here is not that it doesn't happen but about making it stereotypical about the general gay populace. Gay people are in all spheres of life, work as hard as any other person and is usually as successful as everyother person given the same circumstamces.
His Relationships Never Last Long.
Hell no! just like in heterosexual relationships gay people find someone initially attractive and just wants to be in their pants, sometimes they also confuse this feelings of konji as love but once they get a taste or two of this object of their attraction they start to loose interest, it's not just a gay thing it's human. Girls even do it to guys. Commitment in any relationship is only as real as the persons in the relationship make it to be and is true across all spectrum of relationships and not specific to just gay men.
He Knows All Others.
Yes this is true and oddly enough also common amongst gay folks themselves, like gay people are in some kinda secret cult where they have this secret monthly meetings to get acquainted with each other, talk of the latest fashion trend and discuss strategies on how to recruit more under age into their Frat.
